Each semester CSC and Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) jointly host Student Mindfulness Meetups. These groups meet for one hour weekly to engage in mindfulness practices in a safe and supportive space. Regularly practicing mindfulness—taking the time to intentionally focus on the present moment without judgment—can help students feel and function better. It can help relieve stress, build resilience, and increase focus. Practicing with others boosts social connection and a sense of belonging.
