Writing for Your Mental Health

Wednesday, October 21 - 7:00 PM

The COVID-19 pandemic has thrown our world off kilter. Nothing feels stable or certain. We may feel afraid or grief-stricken or utterly out of control. Writing about these emotional experiences, however, can help us understand and cope better with these difficult times. In this virtual workshop, we will discuss writing as a path toward resilience and do a writing exercise designed to help us reflect on our experiences so we can find our footing again. Please come prepared to write. This virtual program can be accessed both by Zoom online and by a toll-free phone number. Sign up at www.jmrl.org or call 434.973.7893 x3. Spaces limited.
