Virginia Native Plant Society Walk
November 21st, 9:00-11:00 am, beginning at the kiosk near the parking lot at Ivy Creek Natural Area, 1780 Earlysville Road, Charlottesville
Native plant enthusiast Ruth Douglas will lead this late fall walk, giving participants an opportunity to learn to recognize some of Ivy Creek’s wildflowers in their winter form; there are a surprising number of herbaceous wildflowers that can be identified from their dry stems and leaves.
