On Thursday, October 1, 2020, Women United in Philanthropy (WUP) will reveal the winners of a total of $50,000 in grants ($25,000 each) to two area non-profit institutions. These two non-profits were selected, via a WUP member vote, from five 501C3 organization finalists - all who have a commitment to better the lives of women and children in our surrounding area. Since its inception in 2005, WUP has awarded more than $ 642,825 to local organizations. Each of the five area non-profit finalists applied for programmatic or project-based funds and participated in a year-long grant application process. WUP grants are funded through our membership.
