Flavorful vine-ripened tomatoes are often the main reason many of us plant a vegetable garden. At 2 p.m. May 15, the Piedmont Master Gardeners will present a free Garden Basics workshop on Tomatoes and Tomato Diseases. A Master Gardener will offer practical advice on how to select tomato varieties, how to plant and care for tomatoes, how to deal with tomato diseases and pests, and how to harvest and store tomatoes.
To reserve a spot in the class, register by May 10 at https://piedmontmastergardeners.org/events/. An invitation to the Zoom session will be sent the morning before the program.
