The Contemplative Sciences Center’s Michael Sheehy will be speaking on two panels at the 2024 Tom Tom Festival on April 20, 2:30 - 3:30pm: "Psychedelics & Meditation: Philosophical & Cultural Perspectives" and "Science of Psychedelics: What’s Next In Charlottesville." The panels are part of the conference Conscious City track which takes us on an intellectual and experiential journey through healing. We’ll explore a variety of proven ways we can heal ourselves and increase our awareness and happiness—from meditation and near death experiences to plant medicines and healthy living, and more. Along the way, we will explore ideas about what is meant by “consciousness” and how you can meaningfully increase joy and fulfillment in your day-to-day and truly flourish.
