The Art of Storytelling: for parents, teachers and other professionals
Enhance the stories you tell every day in your personal and professional life by learning and experiencing the methods given to us by Marie and Rudolph Steiner. The gift of storytelling may be one of life's most powerful skills and is a cornerstone of Waldorf Education. A story well told can make us laugh, weep, swell with pride, or rise with indignation.
This workshop will include discussion, study and practical application of ways to unfold the imagination and touch the heart, soul and mind of your listener.
Debra Spitulnik was a class teacher at the Washington Waldorf School - WWS for twenty-one years and received her Goetheanum diploma as a speech artist from Performinternational in 2016. She now combines these two loves, bringing creative speech to the children and faculty of WWS and to teachers and students nationwide; her unique perspective from her years as a class teacher enlivens plays, poetry, and story in grades 1-12.
