Leave the workday behind and enjoy an evening tree ID walk in one of Charlottesville's parks. Emily Ferguson, a Charlottesville Area Tree Steward, will point out key features to help identify trees along the way and answer your tree-related questions. Emily will meet you at Forest Hills Park for a stroll around several memorable open grown oaks and other trees. This is an easy to moderate walk along a trail and up a mowed hill. We will meet at the corner of Forest Ridge Road and Forest Hill Ave.
Because the Tree Steward walks are limited to 15 people, we ask that you choose between this walk on June 26 or the one on June 27 at Quarry Park. The walks are free but registration is required through the Eventbrite link.
