From the real to the surreal, commonplace to fantastical, we will explore how vivid narrative works: through the power of provocative hooks, engaging characters and dialogue, and a variety of story structures that weave together complex lives and events. You’ll have lots of writing time as well as skill-building exercises for key fiction elements like plot, setting, characters, scenes, and more. Throughout the week you will also have the opportunity to share ideas, get feedback, and refine your work. *All genres of fiction are welcome! Limit 10 students.
