Sierra Club Program:  "Election reforms and threats to democracy"  - Sept. 27

Piedmont Group Sierra Club virtual meeting with Delegate Sally Hudson, D-57

Date and Time: September 27, 2022 at 7:00 PM Eastern Time

Join Delegate Sally Hudson for a discussion of Virginia election law reforms, her
perspective on election laws in other states and current threats to American
Democracy.

A short video will be shown with David Pepper, author of Laboratories of
Autocracy, A Wake-Up Call from Behind the Lines. He will give his views on the
impacts of gerrymandering on the stability of our Democracy.
Delegate Sally Hudson, D-57, will speak about election reform and the current
state of our Democracy. Sally is an active advocate for election reform and she
worked to make Virginia a leader in safe, convenient ballot access.

When she is not in Richmond, Sally is an Assistant Professor at the University of
Virginia, where she teaches statistics in the School of Public Policy.
