PVCC Science Club Career Talk on NASA

This event is open to all students and community members. Richard (Rick) Davis will provide an overview of the challenges which will need to be overcome to allow humans to establish a permanent presence on Mars.  New ideas are needed to achieve this, and students today, bring new perspectives which can may be critical to solving these challenges. This talk will also address how students can become involved in the exploration of space and Mars, in particular.  

Richard (Rick) Davis has worked in many positions within NASA since earning his bachelor's degree in Engineering from UVA including Mission Control, Star City (Russia) and the Astronaut Training Program.
