Oratorio Society: The Brahms Requiem

Come experience one of the greatest choral masterpieces of all time when The Oratorio Society of Virginia presents Johannes Brahms' Ein deutsches Requiem (A German Requiem). A true choral blockbuster, this is a large-scale work for chorus, full orchestra, and soloists and is both deeply moving and lushly melodic. Featuring guest soloists Christina Pier (soprano) and Trevor Scheunemann (baritone).

 In addition, there will be an encore performance of The World Called, Oratorio’s original commissioned work composed by Adolphus Hailstork.
