Janet Muse is playing a free piano recital for the upcoming Friends of the Library Book Sale. All of the tunes will be taken from music books that she has purchased from the Book Sale over the years. This recital is Janet’s opportunity to show her appreciation for all that the Jefferson-Madison Regional Library does for the community.
Blues and stomps from the 1920s, pop music from the 1970s, and much more - there will be enough variety to give you whiplash! Come listen to what she plays in her living room for fun.
Janet has played piano for 60 years. She accompanied choirs, instrumentalists, and sing-alongs at Shakey’s Pizza Parlor. Currently she plays for Contra Dances, English Country Dances, and Scottish Country Dances in the region.
