How is art a medium for mindfulness? How can creative practices help you cultivate self-awareness, calm your mind, and heal from stress?
In this special VIRTUAL workshop author & artist Laura Lee Gulledge shares how mindfulness plays a vital role in her life as an artist… and how her creative itself can be a contemplative practice. Participants then will try out a handful of her favorite practices utilizing materials they already have at home which will include art making, written reflection, meditation, and expressive ritual. Open minds of all walks of life are welcome!
Participants will need a few sheets of drawing paper and markers, plus optional colored pencils, pastels, or watercolors if they're feeling inspired.
