Lift Every Voice

Join us for the launch of Lift Every Voice, a nationwide celebration of the 250-year-long African American poetic tradition, hosted by the Schomburg Center in partnership with Library of America.   Find more information and register to attend here.

The celebration is anchored by the publication of the anthology, African American Poetry: 250 Years of Struggle and Song, edited by poet and Schomburg Center Director Kevin Young.
