Lecture: "Worthy to Serve the Suffering"

Wednesday, April 1 - 6:00 PM

All alumni, parents, and friends are invited to join the UVA Club of Charlottesville for An Evening with Dr. Don E. Detmer. Mr. Jefferson believed education was the most effective way to establish an organized, informed, and capable society. In this vein, the UVA Club of Charlottesville has established a scholarship fund to assist local, incoming University students with demonstrated need.

Dr. Don E. Detmer, Professor, Public Health Sciences at the University of Virginia's School of Medicine, will present "Worthy to Serve the Suffering," A Worthwhile Motto for America's Honorary Society of Medicine.

Your $25 ticket includes the following:

-Lecture and interactive Q&A
-Catered beverages and bites
-Access to the newly renovated Hotel E, West Range in Mr. Jefferson's Academical Village

Proceeds from the event directly support the UVA Club of Charlottesville's Scholarship Fund. We hope you can join us to support our local students!
