This second installment of PVCC's new "Films Talk Back" series features a 65-minute documentary film by local Academy Award and Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Paul Wagner, who will follow up the screening with a Q&A.
Good Work: Masters of the Building Arts explores the lives and works of artisans from across America working in the building trades. Eight segments follow accomplished decorative painters, terra cotta and adobe builders, stone masons, stained glass craftsmen, ornamental metalsmiths and stone carvers. The film celebrates American craftsmanship, occupational traditions, the beauty of our built environment, and the importance of "Good Work."
Join PVCC for Films Talk Back on the third Thursday of the month for popular and critically acclaimed documentaries, shown on the big screen and paired with a talk by a passionate expert–often the filmmakers themselves. Please note, no food or drink is allowed in the theatre.
