Create & Critique with Sam Gray

Wednesday, June 16 - 6:00 PM

Join illustrator, printmaker, and “ROYGBIV” artist Sam Gray for this two-part virtual workshop, hosted via Zoom!

Sam Gray’s creative journey in the past few years has been focused on the importance of symbolism in art and in her case, specifically exploring mysticism in communion with the natural world and the inner journey of navigating the subconscious. During this workshop with artist Sam Gray, we will explore the use of symbolism and allegory in art, as it ties to her personal creative exploration of late and in relation to addressing questions on imagination and conceptualization of symbols and surreal connections in your own artwork. For the creative prompt, participants may work in any artistic medium they wish to.

Learn more about Sam’s creative practice on her website (www.samgray.rocks) and Instagram (@samgrayart).

The workshop is $10 / $7 (members). RSVP on our website at https://www.secondstreetgallery.org/create-and-critique.
