How can “taking a contemplative pause” enhance students’ engagement with course material and with one another? In this workshop, Karolyn Kinane, Associate Director at the Contemplative Sciences Center, will share a few activities that build students’ capacities for self-awareness, presence, and connection to others. Participants will have significant time to create or revise assignments and activities that incorporate a contemplative pause in service of desired learning outcomes.
This online workshop is open to graduate students. Registration is required.
This workshop is part of the Center for Teaching Excellence’s Tomorrow’s Professor Today program.
