Our annual Chemistry Camp is a great opportunity for students to come and learn about how science affects our daily lives. This year, we're discussing chemistry and the environment. Students will conduct experiments where they'll learn about renewable energy, greenhouse gases, and how scientists clean up oil spills. Join us at the end of camp for our daring Chemistry Extravaganza Demo show!
Chemistry Camp is hosted by the UVA Department of chemistry and run by L.E.A.D., a graduate student outreach organization. By registering for this event, you are supporting STEM outreach in Central Virginia by providing funds for supplies used in school and museum visits, and for after-school enrichment programs. Registration is open to K-5 students and is limited to 90 students. Sign-up today at LEADatUVA.org.
