Charlottesville Symphony Pops Concert

Saturday, June 1 - 7:30 PM

Benjamin Rous, Music Director of the Charlottesville Symphony, leads the full orchestra in music from all eight Harry Potter films:  Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, Chamber of Secrets, Goblet of Fire, Order of the Phoenix, Half-Blood Prince, Prisoner of Azkaban, and Deathly Hallows, Parts 1 and 2. (Films will not be screened.)

The movie scores were composed by legendary John Williams (3), Patrick Doyle (1), Nicholas Hooper (2) and Alexandre Desplat (2).  Williams is also the creator of “Hedwig’s Theme,” heard in all eight.

Audience members are invited to come dressed as their favorite Harry Potter-themed witch or wizard.
