Join The Oratorio Society of Virginia for the 2024-2025 season. We will hold auditions for new members on Monday, August 19 from 7:30-9:30 p.m., and August 5 & 6, 4:00-6:00. When you join The Oratorio Society, you are welcomed as a member of a close-knit, dedicated chorus that has delivered the highest caliber of performance to our community for over 55 years.
The audition process lasts roughly 10 minutes, and consists of: vocalizing to determine your range and best-suited voice part, rhythmic and melodic sight-singing, and a brief prepared piece. You can choose your own prepared piece to sing, or the Music Director will gladly recommend a familiar song for you.
