Advocating for Healthcare

Tuesday, July 17 - 10:00 AM

Often a sick or frail person is unable to make appropriate decisions about his/her own care. When that happens, another must do it for them. More seriously, some facilities are not delivering the needed care. When that happens, a loved one might need to step in and deal with healthcare professionals. How do you pick a provider or facility? What's the best way to deal with providers who fail to take proper care of your friend or relative? When does Medicare of other insurance pay? What's a "care plan"? How do we get help with paying or even understanding what this billing is about? What resources are available? All this and much, much more! Free and open to the community.
