Act NOW to End Violence Against Women

Join Charlottesville NOW to learn more about federal and state policies to support victims of domestic and sexual violence and the programs serving them.  During Domestic Violence Awareness Month, learn how we can get engaged and take action to:

  • Pass the Violence Against Women Act and Family Violence Prevention & Services Act
  • Learn about new VA legislation affecting survivors and local programs - including emerging priorities to take action on for the 2020 General Assembly Session
  • Support legislative advocacy efforts at the federal, state, and local levels to build thriving communities
  • Amplify and support the work happening to end violence against women in your community
  • Get involved in strategies to end gun violence
