Waynesboro was an unlikely place at the feet of the Blue Ridge Mountains for war to come. However, in September, 1864, and March, 1865, Union General Sheridan brought the Civil War to town.

Camps open at 9 am and battle scenario will be fought at 2 pm.
Come early on Sunday to participate in our 19th Century style church service in the camps at 9:30 am.
Later in the day, join us in for a Service of Remembrance for Medal of Honor recipient Captain George Bliss of the 1st RI Cavalry.
