The mission of World Voice Day is to celebrate the beauty of the human voice, and we can think of no one better to demonstrate this than Robin & Linda Williams. At the UVA Voice Center, we strive to build awareness of vocal health and the solutions to voice problems that the UVA Voice Team can provide. This event also provides singers who have gone through vocal rehabilitation with our Voice Team the opportunity to return to the stage after vocal injury.
Our World Voice Day concert is brought to you by the UVA Voice Team and is sponsored by the Dept. of Otolaryngology--Head & Neck Surgery and the Communication Sciences & Disorders Program. The National Student Speech Language Hearing Association will raise funds for the Music Health Alliance, a non-profit organization providing healthcare resources to folks in the music industry.
