5K Rotary Ramblin Rabbit Run

Saturday, May 25 - 7:30 AM

What is better than promoting healthy living while raising money for amazing non-profit initiatives with a purpose to teach financial literacy to the underserved community? Well, the 5K Rotary Ramblin Rabbit Run is a great place to find out. Joggers and walkers are encouraged to participate and the event is open for all ages to run, jog, or walk like a Rabbit and for an amazing cause.

The Abundant Life Ministries' Dollars and Sense Program and the Blue Ridge Mountain Rotary Club are the beneficiaries of the fundraising event. The Dollars and Sense program is a bi-annual nine week class that helps economically disadvantaged local citizens develop critical personal financial management skills. Participants can use this knowledge to take control of their financial futures. Financial literacy has the potential of changing the path of success for generations to come.

It is not too late to register for the race. Two options are provided for those who would like to participate in the race. Register online at www.RamblinRabbit5K.com or arrive early and register in-person at 6:30am on the day of the race. The race starts at 7:30am with prizes distributed to the top finishers. The course is paved starting at PVCC, around Monticello High School athletic fields and campus, and back to PVCC.

Registration for Adults and Teens $30 and Kids (2-12) only $15. The race will take place if RAIN OR SHINE.
