"The Farewell" at Free Movie Friday

Friday, October 18 - 7:30 PM

The Farewell follows a family who, upon learning their matriarch has only a short while left to live, decide not to tell her but to schedule a large family gathering before she dies instead. The film was written and directed by Lulu Wang, based in-part on her own life experiences, and stars Awkwafina, Tzi Ma, Diana Lin, Zhao Shuzhen, Lu Hong, and Jiang Yongbo. It is rated PG for thematic material, brief language and some smoking.

Free, general seating tickets to the film will be distributed, one per person, as the doors to the theatre open at 6 p.m. Patrons will need a ticket stub to enter the theatre. No advance tickets are available.

Free Movie Friday takes place on the third Friday of the month and features some of the most popular and critically acclaimed movies, shown on the big screen in the spacious and comfortable Main Stage Theatre
