Please join RoseWood Village on Tuesday, March 23rd at 6:30 PM for an informative presentation by Jim Vitt, Attorney at Law on Veteran's Aid and Attendance Benefits.
While many people are unaware it exists, the Veteran Administration (VA) Aid & Attendance Special Pension provides monetary assistance to wartime veterans - and surviving spouses of deceased veterans - who are disabled and need regular personal assistance in their daily environment. If the veteran qualifies, Aid & Attendance funds are provided in addition to monthly pension and Social Security benefits.
If you or someone you love is a veteran (or surviving spouse of a veteran) who needs help with daily activities like cooking, cleaning, dressing, driving, mobility, or other assistance, the Aid & Attendance pension benefit can provide the funds you need to pay for that care and can even help pay for Assisted Living expenses!
Jim will discuss in more detail and provide answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about this pension program.
This event is free and open to the public. For more information, please contact Jaclyn Tahboub, Marketing Coordinator at RoseWood Village at jaclyn.tahboub@rosewoodvillage.com.
Attorney James M. Vitt is the founder of Vitt Law Offices, PLC in Charlottesville, Virginia. His practice focuses on estate planning, elder law and related matters.
