The University of Virginia Department of Classics invites you to a lecture by Richard Rutherford of Oxford University on Thursday, September 2 at 5:00 p.m. It will be held in the Gibson Room of Cocke Hall on the University Grounds.  Professor Rutherford will be speaking on  Structure and Meaning in Homer, Herodotus, and Thucydides
