Description:

The Kiwanis Club of Charlottesville will donate proceeds of its Seventh Annual Dogwood Pancake Breakfast to the Carson Raymond Foundation for its "GO PLAY" project, which honors the life of Steven "Carson" Raymond by rehabilitating and building baseball fields and providing equipment, coaching, and transportation for elementary-aged children, so they can "GO PLAY" in their own neighborhoods.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 16, from 7:30 a.m until 11:30 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 500 Park Street, in downtown Charlottesville. Tickets, just $5, are available from Kiwanians, Key Clubbers, CKI members at UVA, Carson Raymond Foundation board members, through the web sites, and at the door. Children under 6 eat free.
There is plenty of free parking in the First Presbyterian Church lot, located just two short blocks north of the Dogwood Festival Parade route on East High Street.
Once again this year, this family-friendly event will feature the appearance of local celebrity pancake flippers, including UVA baseball coach Brian O'Connor, who will amaze and delight the young and the young at heart. We invite the public to come downtown for a delicious and fun pancake breakfast and then enjoy the always spectacular Dogwood Festival Parade.
