John P. Halligan, the man responsible for bolstering the bullying and suicide prevention laws in Vermont, will host a seminar for parents, sponsored by Albemarle County Public Schools. This presentation will empower parents with strategies to take preventative action with their own children. While sharing edifying stories and examples learned from his own tragedy, Halligan will discuss current intimidation tactics which encompass youth today due to the myriad technologies and gadgets which surround them.
