Event Summary: Quality interviewing skills are essential for hiring the right person for your organization. Behavioral interviewing techniques, which emphasize past performance and behaviors, have recent gained support because they incorporate more probing and specific questions. This approach to interviewing can yield more relevant, objective information to help you make informed decision about candidates. Join us for this session to learn: what is behavioral interviewing and how can help you go beyond standard questions to get the right candidate, as well as provide an overview of one approach to conducting behavioral interviews-the STAR method. Session attendees will have an opportunity to practice crafting behavioral questions and get feedback on them.
HR Managers, Executive Directors, Board Members, and Personnel committee members should plan to attend.
